About us

The Nuclear Energy and Engineering Laboratory (NEE Lab) at Phenikaa University is a dynamic research group led by Prof. Tran Hoai Nam. The lab brings together experienced scientists and young researchers to advance nuclear science and technology in Vietnam through high-impact research, graduate education, and strong collaborations with national and international institutions.

Nuclear Technology & Reactor Physics

We focus on advanced reactor design, modeling, and optimization to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability of nuclear systems.

Radiation safety
& Environmental radiation

We assess and monitor natural and artificial radioactivity, develop radiation measurement techniques, and enhance radiation protection for people and the environment.

Nuclear Structure Studies

We investigate nuclear level schemes, densities, and gamma transitions to improve understanding of nuclear structure and reaction modeling.

We aim to become a leading research hub in nuclear energy and engineering in Vietnam. Our goal is to advance clean, safe, and sustainable energy through innovation and collaboration. We build national expertise in reactor physics, fuel design, and radiation safety for next-generation technologies.
